Whimsy Swatchathon!

Hi guys!!

For todays post I'm going to be swatching a reviewing all of my Whimsical Nail Polish By Pam collection. It's not a huge collection yet but I've realized that I really love her polishes and I want MORE! So lets get to it!

Here's my little collection.

Whimsical-Nail-Polish-By-Pam

First up.. Super Hero!

Whimsical-Nail-Polish-By-Pam-Super-Hero

I layered layered Superhero over two layers of NYC Midtown Mimosa. Super Hero is loaded with yellow and blue hexagon glitter and red stars. I had to do a little big of digging to get the stars out which was slightly annoying but other than that I had no prooblems.

Whimsical-Nail-Polish-By-Pam-I-Love-NY

Next is  I <3 NY. I applied this one over Sally Hansen Eel Skin. This one is full of white circle glitter and red hearts. Again I had to do some fishing to get the hearts out but it wasn't to bad.

Whimsical-Nail-Polish-By-Pam-Just-Add-Milk

Just Add Milk is a brown crelly loaded with brown hexagon glitter. I LOVE this polish. It reminds me of milk and cookies. I love it. I think it looks so flattering with my skin tone. This is two coats with one coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri

Whimsical-Nail-Polish-By-Pam-Cookie-Monster

This is Cookie Monster. Cookie monster is loaded with blue and black hexagon and circle glitter. Here I have it layered over Kleancolor White. This was one of the fist polishes to go on my wishlist. I have been in love with it since the first time I saw it.

Whimsical-Nail-Polish-By-Pam-Seuss

Last up is Seuss! This is such a gorgeous polish. This polish has a blue base filled with red and silver hexagon glitter. This polish built up nicely it only took 2 coats and it was fully opaque.

Thats all for the Whimsy Swatches. I cannot wait to add even more to my collection! Pam makes some amazing polishes!

Ciao!

Lime Crime Swatches

Hi guys!!

I am so excited for todays post! A couple of months ago I received four polishes from Lime Crimes Les Desserts d'Antoinette Collection. These polishes have been a HUGE lemming ever since I started getting into polish. I cannot tell you how excited I was to get these in my swap package. I literally screamed! LOL

Lime-Crime-Les-Desserts- d'Antoinette- Collection

First up Peaches & Cream

Lime-Crime-Les-Desserts- d'Antoinette- Collection-Peaches-Cream

Peaches & Cream is a bright peach creme. It applied a bit sheer but after two layers it was good. This is two coats with a coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Lime-Crime-Les-Desserts- d'Antoinette- Collection-Lavendairy

Lavendairy is a beautiful purple creme. This was easily my favorite of the four. It would be great as an undie. This is two coats with a coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Lime-Crime-Les-Desserts- d'Antoinette- Collection-Once-In-A-Blue-Mousse

Once In A Blue Mousse is a pretty pastel blue. It reminds me of China Glaze For Audrey but it's a bit lighter. This is two coats with a coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Finally Pastelchio is a bright pastel green. This was my least favorite of the bunch I just don't think it goes well with my skin tone. This is two coats with one coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Overall I adore these polishes the green really isn't my shade but I don't mind it to much.

Have a lovely Saturday!

Bzz Agent Lysol Power & Free Review

These products were provided to me for an honest review.
No compensation was received.

 Hi guys!

One more review for the day. I was lucky enough to be picked to be a Bzz Agent and to recieve a Bzz Kit containing Lysol Power and Free spray and wipes. I also received a bunch of coupons to pass out to family and friends. Let me tell you this stuff is AWESOME!!!!

It cleans better than any product I have ever used and best of all? NO bleach! That's right no bleach. Instead it uses Hydrogen Peroxide. Usually we think that the best way to get anything clean is by using a cleaner packed with bleach but I for one have been proven wrong by Lysol Power & Free. This cleaner has no harsh fumes, You don't have to have the windows open, you don't have to wear gloves and it kills 99% of bacteria including Salmonella and The Herpes Simplex Virus.

I used this on my dirty counters after a night of cooking dinner and dessert. Here is the gross before picture.

Blah! Now the after!

SPARKLING clean!!! I loved this stuff. I literally just did a quick spray. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and wiped it off easy! It was so gentle on my hands and like I mentioned there are no harsh fumes! This stuff is perfect. If I had children I would even be comfortable using this stuff around them.

Lysol Power & Free comes in a variety of forms including a Multi Purpose Cleaner and Multi Purpuse Cleaning Wipes (which is what I got) and bathroom cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner and wipes. It retails from about 1.97-2.97 which I think is a GREAT price Give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

Glitter Daze Swatch and Review

Hi guys!!

Today instead of the normal Pinsperation post I'm going to show you a couple of polishes I got from Glitter Daze. I picked out Lei It On Me and Star So Bright from the Color Pop Collection.

Bottle Shot

Lei-It-On-Me- Star-So-Bright-Glitter-Daze

Lets get to it! First up Lei It On Me.

Glitter-Daze-Lei-It-On-Me

Here is about two coats of Lei It On Me over two coats of Essie Marshmallow. Lei It on Me is in a milky white base filled with neon pink, yellow, green and orange hexagon glitter. It could probably be built up on its own but I did it over the Essie because I wanted to conserve as much as possible; I really like this one! LOL

Next up... Star So Bright.

Glitter-Daze-Star-So-Bright

This is two coats of Star So Bright over two coats of China Glaze Def Defying. Star So Bright is full of multi sized
green, pink, orange and yellow neon hexagon glitter with black stars sprinkled in. The only problem I had with this polish is getting the stars out. I had to do a little big of digging to get them out but other than that this polish was great. I wish I had did it over a lighter green but this was all I had (i'm not a green kinda girl lol) Next time i'll try it over white.

Both of these polishes were pretty nice but Lei It On Me is definitely my favorite!

You can find Glitter Daze here and their Facebook page here. They range in price from about $6.00 for minis and $11.00 for full size.

A little Nail Art With La Bella Vernice

These products were provided to me in exchange for an honest review
No compensation was received.

Hi guys!

I was contacted by Roni from La Bella Vernice who asked if she could send more polishes to me to do some nail art with. Of course I agreed! The girl has some FABULOUS polishes and I was very excited to play with them.

I'll do a general review of the polishes then show you how I incorporated them into nail art.

Fist up was Ariel. Ariel is a gorgeous blue  duochrome. It is such a pretty color on it's own I didn't even want to do anything to it.
La-Bella-Vernice-Ariel

Heres what Roni says about Ariel

"Ariel is a duo chrome polish that reminds you of being under the sea with it’s gorgeous deep blue/purple colors."

The blue is just sooo rich! In person It really does remind you of being under the Sea.Well said Roni!

I literally could not stop looking at my nails it's that pretty. Here's an outside shot.

La-Bella-Vernice-Ariel

Now on to the nail art. I had a bit of a nail fail with these. Basically I was going for a color block kinda thing..but unfortunately it didn't work out! LOL So I had to figure out how to make it work without taking it all off and starting over.

So I thought the failed color block kind of looked like bows so I added a rhinestone in the middle and Voila! Bows! I think I salvaged this mani and I was pretty happy with it.

The next polish I tried was Cinderella. Cinderella is a gorgeous baby pink holo.

La-Bella-Vernice-Cinderella

This polish is AMAZING! It's meant to wear as a topper and I knew it would look awesome over black so I decided to try a glitter gradient. Here's what I did.

La-Bella-Vernice-China-Glaze-Gradient

I just LOVE how this looks. Cinderella is perfect for a glitter gradient. I think it really pops over the black and the holo effect is stunning.  And for it to be my first glitter gradient I think it turned out quite well.

Finally my absolute favorite of the three, Birthday Girl!!! Bithday girl is a glitter topper full of both multi colored and shaped glitter. There are hexagons, and circles, and squares in this polish in pink, red, yellow, green and blue.  It is SO cheery looking. I decided that I wanted to incorporate all of the colors in the glitter on my nails using a splatter mani. So here's the colors that I used and of course the finished product!

Zoya-Lo
Kleancolor-White
Kleancolor- Beach Blue
China Glaze Def Defying
Orly-Unlawful
La Bella Vernice- Birthday Girl

La-Bella-Vernice-Birthday-Girl-Splatter

La-Bella-Vernice-Birthday-Girl-Splatter

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I was so happy with the way this turned out! I think Birthday Girl looks fabulous over white and the accent nails with the splatter tie in with the glitter colors beautifully. Random thought. I love Splatter manis! It is nearly impossible to mess up and they always look so cool.

Birthday Girl applied great. The glitter wasn't to chunky that I couldn't get it out and I didn't have to fish out any glitter which is always a plus! The best part of this polish is that it can be applied over a variety of colors. Black, Pink, Blue they would all work!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Roni has really impressed me with her polishes. No polish looks the same and she keeps coming out with things that I'm totally not expecting. Great job girl!

You can find La Bella Vernice here and her Facebook page here.  Her polishes are $4.50 for mini's and $10.00 for full size. Right now she is having a buy two mini's get one free sale. So now is the time to try a couple of polishes for a good price! Oh! And she just came out with a thermal line which looks amazingly cool! Thanks for letting me review these polishes Roni! They were awesome!

Pinsperation- Ruffian

Hi guys!!!!

For today's Pinsperation post I found this AWESOME Ruffian design on Pinterest.

I knew immediately that I wanted to give this a try! So here is what I came out with!

 China Glaze-
China Glaze-

China-Glaze-Ruffian-Nail-Art

China-Glaze-Ruffian-Nail-Art

I was semi happy with these. For my first time I didn't do horribly i'd say! I wish I had used smaller rhinestones these made it look kinda bulky. LOL Excuse the smooshed pinky. I refused to do it over lol. To get this look I first painted a coat of the pink. Topped it with a coat of Seche Vite to get it to dry faster. Then I started a bit away from the cuticle and painted the blue on. Another coat of Seche vite then I stuck the rhinestones on while it was still sticky. And finally finished of with another coat of Seche Vite and I was done! How did I do?

Have a wonderful Friday! Ciao!

Untried Thursday-

Hi guys!!!

Today I for Untried Thursday I used three untrieds! Whoop!!! I'm slowly gonna get through all these polishes I tell ya!

So as you probably know i'm obsessed with animal print. I just can't help it. When I put all these colors together I just knew immediately they would look awesome as a leopard print! First off here are the Untrieds I used.

From L-R
Essie- Watermelon
Essie- Madison Ave-Hue
Sinful Colors-
China Glaze-Liquid Leather (Used Before)

And now the nails!

Leopard-Print-Nail-Art

I think these are SO cute. I love the combination of gray, pink and blue together. I think leopard print tends to be the design I fall back on. It's easy, hard to mess up and always pretty. Plus there are a tons of different ways to incorporate it into your designs. Do you have a technique you tend to fall back on? Tell me in the comments I'd love to hear it!

Watermarble Fail!

Hi guys!!

For today's post I decided to try my hand at water marbling again. I've had mixed success with water marbling. Sometimes it's awesome like my Fourth Of July Mani... other times...like today's not so good. I will say that practice does make perfect so I will continue to try them at least once a week because they really are SUPER cool! Ok on to today's mani. I wanted to use red and black because honestly I don't use red that often and I love the combination of the two. Unfortunately I think the red was a little tooooo dark. You'll see what I mean!

Here are the colors I used

China Glaze-
China Glaze- Liquid Leather

China-Glaze-Water-Marble-Nail-Art

So as you can see I dipped my pinky in the wrong section for sure because it came out super dark! And I obviously had some bubbling problems.. which I tried to fix with some terribly placed dots of paint. LOL I kinda wish all of the nails would have come out like my ring finger but that's just a problem with the design I'm drawing in the water. My biggest issue with these is that they seem kinda muted; if that makes sense. I wanted the red to pop a lot more. I am going to try this design again and change a couple of things with the water and the colors and see if I like it better. Nevertheless this was definitely not the worst water marble I've done by far but there were some things I hated! Any tips or suggestions on how to get the perfect water marble? Help a girl out!

Ciao!

La Bella Vernice Swatch and Review

These products were provided to me in exchange for an honest review
No compensation was received.

Hi guys!

I have some awesome polishes to show you today from a new Indie Maker. Her name is Roni and she is the owner of La Bella Vernice and man let me tell you her polishes are impressive; there are quite a few that will be going on my wishlist!

Before I show the polishes I wanted to mention something that really impressed me. I am obsessed with how a product is presented to me and Roni really outdid herself with the packaging. The polishes came packed neatly in a beautiful box complete with her brands name on the front and a cute little card.
I LOVE it! I like when Indie makers go the extra mile and this packaging really made me smile and be even more excited to see what was inside. Now onto the polishes!

First off both swatches are done with 3 coats and a layer of Out The Door. They are both scattered holos and a dream to work with! Not to thick, not to thin.. just right! As I mentioned before I did 3 coats but you could probably get by with 2 I just wanted to be sure I didn't have any sheer parts.

First up! Jozzi Bug. Jozzi Bug is a pretty aqua blue with a light scattered holo.

Bottle Shot

Pretty in the bottle and even prettier on the nails!

Gorgeous! Next up my absolute fave of the two London!

Bottle Shot

And now the nails!

I couldn't decide which I liked better so I included both! LOL

London is a gorgeous Pinkish/Fuchsia with a scattered holo and I am in LOVE with it! This will easily become one of my favorite polishes.

Roni did a great job on these polishes and I am excited to see what will become of La Bella Vernice I think that she will be very popular in the nail world. I had absolutely nothing negative to say about these polishes and that is rare!

You can Buy La Bella Vernice here and like her Facebook page here The retail price is $10.00 for full size bottles and 4.50 for minis. You can also pick up the full size collection of 8 polishes for $70.00 ( $10.00 off) and the mini collection for $28.00.

Give em a try! You won't be disappointed!
