Ellagee Swatch and Review

I was provided a discount code for the products in this post in return for an honest review.

Hi guys!

Today I have three polishes I purchased from Ellagee for review. It was SO hard choosing just three because she has some amazing colors! I tried to pick three that would showcase different finishes. I hope you like my selections!

First up is My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights.

'Ellagee-My-Sweet-Romantic-Teenage-Nights

My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights is a black linear holo. This is two coats with a coat of Seche Vite.  I love love LOVE the rainbow effect the holo makes. I went outside to look at this polish and I was seriously mesmerized.

Slightly blurry but ahhhhhh look at that rainbow!

Next is Ruby Glass. This is a gorgeous hot pink jelly.

 Three coats

It's a bit sheer but I didn't mind because I planned on layering the next polish over it. It does deepen in color as you layer on more coats. I love the way this color looks against my skin tone. Usually bright pinks tend to make me look a bit ashy. But this color works perfectly! I didn't use a top coat on this because it's already insanely shiny!

The last polish I got is called Loved By No One More Than Me. This one is a a glitter topper in a clear base full of pink, purple and silver circles with tiny silver and iridescent glitter. Here I layered one coat of it over Ruby Glass

Ellagee-Loved-By-No-One-More-Than-Me

I really like this polish. I'm not always the biggest fan of glitter toppers but I think this one is so pretty and delicate. It would be perfect as a Valentines Day polish.

Here I attempted a "jelly sandwich" I'm not sure it turned out right but I kind of like it anyway! :)

I was extremely pleased with these polishes. They were super easy to work with and I have definitely found some favorites. Out of the three I think My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights was my favorite. I am in love with that rainbow holo!

If you'd like to try some Ellagee please check out her shop here and don't forget to like her facebook page here.

Have a lovely day!!

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook and Milani Sprinkles

Hi guys!

I'm here today with a couple more untrieds. Go me! So far this week every post has been with an untried. :)

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook is from the Spring 2013 Euro Centrale Collection. This was one of the few I liked. I think I just have a soft spot for sky blues. Milani Sprinkles is from the 2013 Retro Glam Collection. I love black and white glitter toppers so I was super excited to receive this one in a swap package.

I love the black and white glitter over the blue. It's such a pretty combo. Normally I hate bar glitter but surprisingly I didn't mind them so much. I love the large hex glitter. But I did have to fish that one out. I wish more of them came out of the bottle. This is two coats of OPI and two super thin coats of Sprinkles. Both were very easy to work with.

I hope you guys have an awesome day!

OPI DS Indulgence

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday!

I do a lot of swaps I even have my own monthly swap group because I love swapping so much! But, because of all of these swaps my untried pile is huge! So I've been slowly trying to work my way through it and by doing that I discovered a gorgeous polish that I never thought I would like.

OPI DS Indulgence is a gorgeous red with gold shimmer. Take a look at the bottle.

OPI-DS-Indulgence

Look at all that gold!

I love this polish it reminds me a bit of fire. I dig it. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try it! In the bottle it looked a little orange to me. But once I got it on the nail it was most definitely more of a berry colored red.

This is my second DS polish and so far I haven't been disappointed.

What do you think? Do you need Indulgence in your stash?

Quick note. If you are interested in joining a monthly swap group feel free to contact me. You can shoot me an email (found in the contact tab) or message me on Facebook here. We are always looking for more members. All that is required is a wishlist, and some sort of verifiable swap feedback. International is welcome!

Have a great day!

Emily de Molly Sakura

Hi guys!!

The other day I was going through my massive stash and I discovered that I had NEVER swatched my long time lemming Emily de Molly Sakura! In fact I forgot I even had it! Have any of you ever done that? You go through your stash and you're like I have that!? LOL.

Sooo here it is!

Emily-de-Molly-Sakura

I layered it over China Glaze Moonlight, which is a milky almost sheer white. In all honestly it doesn't need to be layered over anything but I really really like this polish and I want to preserve as much as I can. LOL! I think this polish would be a really awesome Valentines Day polish, especially if you don't feel like going all out with the hearts and flowers and all that girly stuff. I am in love with the pink and grey glitters. It's my favorite color combo!

The only thing that sucks about Emily de Molly is trying to get them. It's an Australian brand so the only way to get them is from blog sales or Stockists like Llarowe. Sometimes you can find a mule (someone local to ship to non locals) to buy them and ship to you, but shipping from Australia is very expensive so unless you are doing a group order it isn't really worth the expense. If you can grab some during a restock from Llarowe I recommend trying a couple. They are pretty awesome polishes.

That's it for today. Have an awesome night!

OPI DS Extravagance

Hi guys! I hope you had an awesome weekend and made it through Monday OK. ;)

Yesterday I noticed that I hit a huge milestone on Facebook.... 1k likes!!! Well 1,040 to be exact! I am so so so excited about it! I never thought I would even get 100 likes so to have over a thousand is mind blowing. I am so humbled by it. There are a TON of blogs out there so to have 1000+ people who have taken the time out of their day to like my page is amazing. Thank you all so much!

Definitely plan on seeing an awesome giveaway soon to celebrate!

Today I have a longtime lemming that was gifted to me in a swap. OPI DS Extravagance.

Take a look!

OPI-DS-Extravagance

Ahhh so pretty. It's a pinkish purple scattered holo and one of my favorite OPI shades. I think they knocked it out the park with this one! When I opened my package and saw this polish I screamed. LOL I really screamed. I was so excited!

What do you think? Do you need this one in your collection?

Have an awesome Tuesday!

Literary Lacquers Love You Forever

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of posts, my computer has totally been crapping out on me lately. I think it's about that time for a new one. Boo!

I am so excited for this post! I purchased my first Literary Lacquers and I am in LOVE! I first saw this polish from Lacey at My Boyfriend Hates Makeup and I knew immediately that I needed it.

Love You Forever is apart of the Community Collection. All of the polishes in the collection were designed by friends and bloggers of Amy and like the rest of her polishes are based on books. This particular polish was designed by Crisdee Luna and her daughter and inspired by the book "Love You Forever" By Robert Munsch.

Take a look!

Slightly Blurry but you can really see the holo here!

Cell Phone Shot

This is two coats of Love You Forever with a coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri. Look at the holo! Soooooo pretty! You can find this and a ton of other polishes here and please like Literary Lacquers here. Also Amy runs an awesome Facebook group called Literary & Lacquers. In it we discuss books and of course polish! There are some awesome ladies in there and I have discovered a lot of different books because of them. New members are always welcome!

Have a lovely Saturday!!

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer Swatch and Review

The products in this post were provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
No compensation was received.

Hi guys!!

Happy New Year!!!! I've decided not to make a resolution this year. I always forget them by the time the week is over anyways! ;)

To start off the new year right I have a review of a couple of polishes from Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer.

Julie was kind enough to send me two polishes from her winter collection, which restocked today! So if you like what you see please head over to her site and scoop them up!

Blue-Eyed-Girl-Lacquer-December-Duo

The December Duo is sold as a set and consists of Untrodden Snow (L) and Electric Icicle (R).

Blue-Eyed-Girl-Lacquer-Untrodden-Snow

Untrodden Snow is a white creme with blue shimmer and blue micro flakes. It's kind of hard to see the shimmer in the picture but I can see a flash of blue; it's very pretty in person.  This is three coats for pictures sake but you could totally get by with two.

Blue-Eyed-Girl-Lacquer-Electric-Icicle

Blue-Eyed-Girl-Lacquer-Electric-Icicle

Electric Icicle is a clear based glitter topper with blue holo hexes, rainbow squares and hexes, silver holo hexes, blue stars and silver diamonds. This is such an awesome polish. I usually am not a fan of stars in my polish but I love that this polish isn't packed with them and it gives just a fun little pop whenever you get one on a nail. I am also in love with the rainbow hexes. They are so sparkly!
