Polish Nail Addict-Drunken Unicorn

Hi guys! Recently I ordered a couple of polishes from Polish Nail Addict. I've seen swatches around and finally decided to try a couple myself. Today i'm showing one of the polishes I ordered called Drunken Unicorn.

First off I love the name. It's a white based crelly with neon blue, green, pink, purple, blue and gray small glitter and big white, grey and black circle glitter.

As I've said before I love white based polishes so this one was a home run for me. I wished that I could have gotten more of the big circle glitter out of the bottle, but I did manage to get a couple of pieces which added a little something something extra to the nail.

I'm loving the neon glitter. This polish would be perfect for the summer. Or if you're like me and don't care what season it is...rock it all year long!!! This polish was pretty easy to work with. It was completely opaque in two coats and then I used a coat of Seche Vite to seal in all that goodness!

So what do you think? Do you own any Polish Nail Addict? I'll be placing another order soon because I was very happy with what I ordered. Oh and bonus! She offers minis. I know some people hate minis but I love them. I have never gone through an entire bottle of polish so minis save a lot of room in my helmers. :)

If you are interested in trying Polish Nail Addict you can find it here. And as always send a like her way here.

That's all for today! Have a lovely Wednesday!

Anne Kathleen Swatch and Review

The products in this post were provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

Hi guys!

Today I have two polishes from Anne Kathleen's L'Amoure collection.

First up is Trista. It's a white creme with a light red shimmer. The shimmer was impossible to see on camera but I promise you its there!

This is two coats with one coat of Seche Vite. I wish you could see the shimmer in this  because it's really pretty. I may try to get a picture of the shimmer when the sun comes out. This polish would be great as a base to a design especially with the little shimmer it has in it. I'm thinking this would go great with a Valentines Day design i'm planning! ;)

Next is Eloise. It's a pretty red based jelly with small red and silver holo glitter.

This was two coats with one coat of Seche Vite. This dries to a slightly bumpy finish so a good top coat is a must! I love the little holo glitter; it gives a little sparkle to the polish.

Both of these polishes were easy to work with and completely opaque in two coats. All of Anne Kathleen polishes are 5 free and both Eloise and Trista are cruelty free and vegan.

It's meant to be worn alone but when I wear it again i'll try it over black I think it would look pretty good. This is two coats with one coat of Seche Vite.

Lastly we have my favorite of all 5 Rhythm and Blues.

This was the first polish my eyes zeroed in on when I first went to Pipe Dream Polishes website. I knew immediately I NEEDED it lol. It's a gorgeous bright blue jelly full of blue, and silver holo glitter. Take a look!

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. Pipe Dream Polish has been on my list to try for awhile I was very excited to have a chance to try some. I purchased five total but today i'm only showing two.

First up is Flip Fantasia. This one is a pinkish coral based polish with turquoise shimmer full of multi sized teal and silver circular glitter and small hex glitter in silver, teal and turquoise.

This is two coats with one coat of Seche Vite. This polish was a little on the thick side but not to thick to work with. Plenty of glitter came out on the brush which I appreciated. No fishing here! I'm in love with the color of this polish. I think it looks awesome against my skin tone. Also I appreciated the big circles. I'm a huge circle glitter fan so I was very happy with it.

The second polish I have to show you is called Flushed Pink. This one is a bright pink jelly with pink, purple and silver holo glitter.

This is two coats with a coat of Seche Vite. This polish was very easy to work with and again I love the color! I usually stay away from bright colors because they tend to look weird against my skin but this one looks awesome. I really enjoy the holo glitter it gives my nails a bit of sparkle.

So far i'm loving what I see from Pipe Dream Polish. I have three more polishes to show you guys and I'm very excited to try them.

Jamberry Review

The products in this review were provided to me free of charge in exchange for a honest review.
No compensation was received

Hi guys!

Most of you have probably heard of Jamberry Nails. Basically they are long lasting nail wraps that come in a bunch of different colors and designs. I was contacted by a woman named Terri to try them and since I've never tried ANY nail wraps I figured i'd give them a try.

Here is what she sent me.

For this review I decided to use the blue and silver design. But I will be using these again to use the comic book design as an accent nail. I'm obsessed with comic book prints!

To apply these you pick the size that fits your nail, heat it up for a few seconds with a blow dryer then apply it to the nail. Using the blow dryer again you blow it on the nail to help seal it down. Then you cut and file down to the length of your nail and boom your done! It sounds pretty simple and in reality it is, but there was a bit of a learning curve to getting it right. As you'll see in the picture a couple look a little wonky but that's user error not any fault of Jamberry.

So here is what they look like once they are done.

I think the designs are pretty cute. For my first time using nail wraps I don't think I did to bad a job. ;)

I like the idea of these. I like all the designs they have and I like that they are pretty easy to use once you get the technique down. They are also long lasting (2 weeks on nails and 4 weeks on toenails) and just as easy to get off as it is to get them on. Just turn the blow dryer on warm them up a bit and peel them off. It's also nice to not have to wait for polish to dry!

I personally wouldn't use these much because I like to change my polish far to often. But I would consider using them if I were going on vacation because I wouldn't have to worry about chipped polish or lugging around extra polish in my suitcase. I wouldn't mind using one or two of these as accent nails but I probably wouldn't use them for a full mani.

I do think that these are perfect for all ages which is pretty awesome I know there are a few ladies out there who would prefer not to put polish on their kids. It would also be good for pregnant women.

All in all I am pretty pleased with these. They were cute, easy to use and long lasting. They are a bit expensive for me though. They run about 15.00 a set.

What do you think of Jamberry? Do you wear them? I'd love to hear your experiences!

If you are interested in purchasing Jamberry you can find them here and feel free to like Jamberry here.

Have an awesome Saturday!
