The NEW 31 Day Challenge Day 7 Ombre or Skittle

Hi there! It's Monday blahhh! I have to go back to work today. :( At least I'll have lots of pretty manicures to get me through my day! hahaha For todays challenge we had to do either an Ombre or Skittle design. I chose to go with skittle. I've seen it done a bunch of times but I've never tried it myself. Here's what I came up with.

I wish I had added some glitter on top...oh well at least the gradient worked out decently this time! :)

The NEW 31 Day Challenge Day 6- Your Favorite Color Family

*Sigh* I had so many problems with my pink mani today. I attempted to do a pretty pink gradient then I wanted to use my first Daring Digits polish (post to come later) to layer on top. For whatever reason the gradient gods were not with me today because it was just not coming out the way I wanted. Then I tried to matte it to see if I would like it better...but that was a disaster in itself since matte shows every little mistake, crease, bump. Then I FINALLY had something I like and this little terror got himself stuck under the bed and I had to pull him out and in the process I smeared my nails. :(

Grrrrr!!! I love this guy but dammit he makes doing my nails difficult sometimes!!!  Anyways after the smear I was done. I took it all off put on Zoya Lara and Pretty &Polished Punk'd up Betty and called it a day!

I love Punk'd Up Betty. It was one of the first Indies I purchased and one of the few full size bottles that I own. When it comes to indies I usually just buy mini's because I know i'll probably never get through a full size and I can get a bunch for cheaper and be able to try out lots of things! Whenever I buy a full size its because I really really love it and I know I'll wear it all the time. So I ended up loving my pink mani. It's simple..but I'm ok with that. :) Have a nice Sunday!

The NEW 31 Day Challenge Day 5-Purple

Hi there! I'm so happy it's the weekend! Whooo! What are ya'll up to? I'm thinking I'm going to be doing lots of nail painting! :) Todays challenge is purple! Yay! Who doesn't love purple!?? Sadly I don't own many purples which is weird. I'm defiantly gonna  have to do some purple shopping. ;) My girlfriend probably won't be to happy about that. Oh well! On to the Nails!

Sinful Colors- Amethyst (dark purple)
O.P.I- Rumples Wiggin' (light purple)
Pure Ice- Black out

I had to practically beat my camera to get the light purple to show up right! It kept showing it as this really washed out white. Sometimes I feel like I need a photography for dummies book. hahahaha

Quick Sidenote. Did anyone else take part in the Zoya sale yet? I was on it as soon as I realized the code was working early! I got Blaze, Holly and Sooki. I am very excited. I only have a few Zoyas. I tried to buy some during all those flash sales they were holding last month, but man did I suck!!! I didn't get anything!

The NEW 31 Day Challenge. Day 4-Pink

I am so excited to show todays mani!! I loveeee pink!!! It's my favorite color and so to highlight it I thought I would take a stab at something that I think is so beautiful but I've never tried. Stained Glass!!! Once I finished I realized how easy it really is. Honestly if I can do it anyone can!!! hahaha Here's what I ended up with.

Cute huh!? To do this mani I used my dotting tool and four different shades of pink and made random dots all over my nail. Then using a black liner I went around all the dots kinda boxing them in. I finished with a thick layer of Seche Vite. I love this design. I think it turned out pretty well. Especially being my first time trying. :)

The NEW 31 Day Challenge Day 3-Gold

Today we are doing gold mani's in the challenge. Unlike yesterdays hated color. I loveeee gold!!! It looks so nice against my skin tone! Here is what I came up with.

I used the Gold holographic from Milani and I did the print with Pure Ice black out. Simple, easy and oh so cute! Thanks for reading. See ya tomorrow for day 4 (which is my favorite color)!!!

The NEW 31 Day challenge Day 2 Silver

So I kinda cheated today. I hate silver. I really do. I know sounds crazy. But I'm just not a fan of how it looks against my skin tone. I kinda accented with silver versus painting all my nails silver. *shudders* Here's a pic.
