Hi guys!

Long time no see! I hope everyone is well. Who else loves fall!? Pumpkin everything, leaves falling, Halloween and of course... Fall nail polish collections! Today I am bringing you the new collection from Anne Kathleen called Pumpkin Smashing Not Advised. This collection features 5 polishes and are on sale NOW. (links to be provided at end of post)

First up is Tabitha.

Tabitha is a pretty peachy orange creme. I used two coats for pictures sake but i'm pretty sure you could get by with one coat.

Morticia is a black polish with silver holographic sparkles.

First off I'd like to note that the lumps and bumps you see is NOT the polish. My light made the weirdest reflection on my nails and it makes it look like my nails are lumpy. So sorry! I used two coats of Morticia to achieve opacity.

Next is Blair.

Blair is a pale yellow creme. I used two coats for this but I think I could have gotten by with one.

Next is my favorite of the 5 Autumn.

Autumn is a gorgeous dark orange polish with scattered silver holo. I also used two coats for this one. This color just screams fall, I love it!

Finally we have Carrie.

Carrie is a glitter topper with small orange and black glitter and holographic stars. Here I have it layered over Tabitha. I did have to do a bit of fishing to get the stars out, but it wasn't too bad.

I really enjoyed this collection. Besides the minor issue of fishing for stars in Carrie, I had no problems with the polishes. If you could only get one I would suggest Autumn. I think it would look awesome on a variety of skin tones and I think it's perfect for the fall.

Anne Kathleen polishes are 5 free, Cruelty free and the majority of them are Vegan.
Interested in purchasing 1,2,or all of them? Head here! They retail for $10 which I think is very fair considering the quality of these polishes.

Also be sure to follow Anne Kathleen to keep up with all her new offerings!

ABC Challenge..All Indies-C

Hi guys!

We are on "C" today! I decided to use Cookies and Milk by Model City Polish. I am a huge fan of Model City Polish so i'm excited to feature it on my blog today.

Cookies and Milk is a white based polish full of golden brown and black (maybe a dark brown) circle glitter and larger dark hexagon glitter.

Does it remind you of cookies and milk?

Remember if you are following along post your pics on my Facebook!

Also today I did a collaboration post with other members of Proud Beauty Bloggers of Color be sure to check that out here

I will see you guys tomorrow for D!

Proud Beauty Bloggers of Color Orange Collaboration

Hi guys! I have a special post for you guys today. As some of you may know I am a member of Proud Beauty Bloggers of Color.

We are a group of darker skinned women who have come together to discuss the obstacles and challenges we face as beauty bloggers. We decided to do a collaboration post this month using the color Orange. I was excited and nervous about using Orange; it's just not my color! I decided to add some black in it..It's never to early for Halloween right!?

I used Orly Melt Your Popsicle which is a bright neon Orange and Orly Liquid Vinyl. I figured if I had to use orange, It may as well be neon!

I think this just may be my favorite orange ever! I never ever thought I would speak those words. LOL!

I hope you enjoyed this post and please make sure to look at the other talented ladies posts. I am so thrilled to be apart of this group and I look forward to future collaborations!

ABC Challenge..All Indies-B

Hi guys!

Happy Wednesday! I don't know about you guys but I am SO ready for this week to be over. It feels like it's dragging by.

For today's post I used Bundy Berries (double B!!) by Chirality. This polish was apart of the Cereal Killers collection. The Cereal Killers collection was slightly controversial, but I personally loved it. Take a gander at Bundy Berries.

Chirality-Bundy-Berries

Chirality-Bundy-Berries2
(Oops a little blurry!)

I noticed that this was a bit sheer. It would probably be great over white but I was ok with it. I love the various sizes and shades of blue hex glitter. I am a big fan of Chirality so you will be seeing a couple more during this ABC challenge.

If you want to participate in the challenge with me, please feel free to post your pics on my FB. I would love to see what you're using!

On another note, yesterday was my Fur baby's 2nd birthday! Of course we had a birthday party for him so I thought I'd share some pictures of him and his cake. ;)

As you can see he thoroughly enjoyed his cake!

Have a wonderful Wednesday! I'll see ya tomorrow for "C"!!

ABC Challege..All Indies!

Hi guys happy Monday!

I know it's been awhile since I blogged but I decided to take a much needed break. I am happy to be back and I have decided to do the ABC Challenge on my blog. Now if you've been following me for awhile you'll know that I started the ABC Challenge before and I failed miserably!

This time i'm ready and to keep it entertaining I've decided to try and do it with only Indies AND I can't use any polishes I've already featured on my blog. I am determined to do it and I suspect i'll be reaching out to you guys if I get stuck on a letter!

If you aren't familiar with the ABC Challenge, basically everyday will be a letter and you have to use a polish that either begins with said letter or the brands name begins with the letter.

I welcome everyone to join along with me on Facebook and post their mani's to my page. I will officially be starting on Tuesday 7/29 with A!

I hope you guys will join in and share the fun with me!

Introducing Majestic Lacquers- Swatch and Review

The products in this review were provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
No compensation was received.

Hi guys! I am so excited for today's post! The lovely Vick from Vickermania has officially launched her new indie line and I think she did a pretty good job! Lets get started!

Green Goddess is a Muted Seafoam green with gold shimmer and flecks.

I thought this was such a pretty color. I'm usually not a green fan but this one was really nice. I really liked the addition of the gold shimmer. Green Goddess has a great consistency and I used two coats with one coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri.

Next is Heartbeat. A clear base full of white, pink and blue square and hexagon glitter with hot pink heart glitter.

Here I have it layered over Wet N Wild Black Creme. I am in LOVE with this polish. I think it's so fun and it would look great over a variety of colors. I decided to try it over Orly Beach Cruiser which is a bright neon pink

It's so pretty!!! You can't see the hearts as well as I'd like but it's still gorgeous! This polish was really easy to work with. No fishing required!

Next is Honeymoon Avenue. A pretty purple lightly scattered with holographic sparkles.

(Flash to show the holo)

This polish gave me a bit of trouble. It was a bit stringy and had a very weird consistency. Almost like the polish was drying in the bottle. I let Vick know and she's working to fix it. Other than the weird consistency I thought this was a very pretty color. I used 3 coats with a coat of Sally Hansen Insta Dri on top.

Next is Majestic Magic. This is a blue, purple, pink and white glitter topper that can be layered on top of another color or can be built up to opacity.

I had a little fun with the Macro shots with this one! I have Majestic Magic layered over Wet N Wild Black Creme. It was very easy to work with, no fishing required!

The last color I have to show you is Treading Water. A gorgeous blue jelly with various sized blue, aqua and holographic glitter.

I love this polish! I think the blue is absolutely beautiful and I'm really loving the circle glitter. I did three coats of this one. It had great consistency though I did have to fish a little to get the circle glitter out.

I am so impressed with these polishes! I think Vick did a great job and i'm so excited to see what she does next. Majestic Lacquers is 5 free and they cost $9-$10 dollars each.  If you are interested in purchasing Majestic Lacquers please go here  and please like her Facebook page here.

Zoya Magical Pixie Dust

The products in this post were provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
No compensation was received.

Hi guys! I finally got my computer working so now I can show you guys the new Zoya Magical Pixie Dust Collection. YAY! Take a look at the bottles.

Zoya-Pixi-Dust

Pretty right? On to the Swatches!

All three of the shades are pretty much the same with the exception of color. All textured of course, full of  multi sized hex glitter and what Zoya calls "Holographic pixie particle" which I just take to mean holo glitter. LOL

First up is a dark purplish pink called Arlo.

Zoya-Pixi-Dust-Arlo

Zoya-Pixi-Dust-Arlo2

I did two coats of Arlo with no top coat.

Next is Bar. I am in love with the color of this one. Zoya describes it as Topaz.  I do think this one would have been a great shade to be released around the holidays because it has Christmas party, New Years Eve celebration written all over it!

Zoya-Pixi-Dust-Bar

I did two coats of bar with no top coat.

Finally we have Ginni. This is a really pretty light pink.

Zoya-Pixi-Dust-Ginni2

Zoya-Pixi-Dust-Ginni3

As with the other two I did two coats with no top coat.

My thoughts-

Honestly it's a very pretty collection. I don't particularly think that anything about them is new or innovative, but they are all really nice solid colors. The consistency of all of them was great, they were very easy to apply even with all the glitter and they were a breeze to remove. If you are a fan of nudes then I would suggest Bar.

If you would like to purchase any of these you can find them here for $10 or buy the set of three for $30.

Also if you missed my previous reviews of Bubbly and Tickled you can find them here and here.

What do you think? See any you NEED to have? Leave a comment lets chat!

Have a lovely day!

Emily de Molly Harmony

 Hi guys!

I recently received Emily de Molly Harmony in a swap and I was so excited to get it swatched! Take a look!

Emily-De-Molly-Harmony

It's a grayish base that looks almost silver with my lighting full of various sized hexagons in blues, white and purple and white squares.

Emily-De-Molly-Harmony-Swatch

Slightly blurry macro shot lol.
Emily-De-Molly-Harmony-Macro

I loved this polish! I appreciated that it wasn't to thick like Cosmic Forces is (man is that polish a pain) and I loved the color combination. I am obsessed with gray polish so this one will definitely be one I reach for often.

That's it for today! I hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend and enjoy some BBQ for me!

Ciao!

Zoya Summer 2014 Tickled Swatch and Review

The products in this post were received free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
No compensation was received.

Hi guys! Happy Monday! Today I have the Zoya Tickled Collection to show you. I was very excited to receive these polishes. I'm a huge fan of creams and every single cream in this collection is awesome and perfect for the summer! So without further adieu, lets get to the swatches!

Zoya-Tickled-Collection
Kirtridge, Ling, Wendy

Zoya-Tickled-Collection2
Rocha, Rooney, Tilda

Kirtride is a bright bubblegum pink that went on a bit streaky at first but built up to opacity after about three coats.

Zoya-Tickled-Kirtridge

Ling is a really pretty bright blue. This one had a really good consistency and was nearly opaque in one coat. For swatch sake I did two coats.

Zoya-Tickled-Ling

Rocha is a orange-y color that had a bit of red in it. This one also has a bit of shimmer but to be honest I couldn't really see it. It definitely didn't come through in the swatch.

Zoya-Tickled-Rocha

Rocha was my favorite shade of the bunch. I am not an orange fan at all! But I think this color is freaking gorgeous and perfect for summer!

Rooney a darker pink almost magenta but not quite as dark. This one was a bit thick but still workable.

Zoya-Tickled-Rooney

Tilda is a very bright yellow toned green. This one was thick as well and I would suggest using very thin coats. I did like this color. I don't know what it is about this collection but I'm loving the colors I would normally hate! LOL!

Zoya-Tickled-Tilda

Finally we have Wendy. Zoya describes Wendy as a "juicy summer melon" and I think that's a pretty good way to describe the color. This one was a bit thick as well but again not to difficult to work with. Again I recommend very thin coats!

Zoya-Tickled-Wendy

All in all I'm very pleased with the Zoya Tickled collection. I definitely liked it more than the Bubbly collection. I think the colors are bright and summery and would go well with a multitude of skin tones. I think that bright colors tend to look crazy on people with darker skin tones such as mine but these were perfect. My definite favorites were Rocha and Tilda. I also liked that all of these would be great undies for a variety of glitter toppers.

These polishes are available for purchase here and they sale for $9 each.

If you'd like to read my Zoya Tickled review head here!

Which is your favorite? Are there any must haves for you in this collection?

Zoya Summer 2014 Bubbly Review

The products provided in this review were provided free of charge in exchange for an honest review
No compensation was received.

Hi guys!

Today I have the Zoya Bubbly collection to show you. I'm sure you've seen the swatches floating around so I will keep it short.

In general the polishes are all pretty much alike. They are all full of iridescent glitter, slightly thick and they went on a bit sheer though became opaque in about 3 coats. The only difference between these polishes were the colors.

On to the swatches!

Stassi is a light green. I usually hate greens but I don't mind this one so much.

Harper is a beautiful bright pink and my favorite of the bunch!

Alma is a light orange color that looks more golden than orange on my skin tone.

Jesy is a dark orange. I didn't expect to like this color as much as I did. I think its a great summery color.

Muse is a dark blue.

Binx is a pretty pinkish purple and also a favorite of mine.

My thoughts

In general I thought the collection was just ok. I would have liked some variety in the polishes besides color. I don't think that the line was very imaginative and though I liked a couple of the colors I don't see the need to buy the whole collection. I would suggest Binx, Harper and maybe Jesy. One thing that REALLY turned me off about this collection is the removal. There was glitter EVERYWHERE! It drove me absolutely nuts.

If you are interested in purchasing any of these they are available here for $9 a bottle or $54 for the entire collection.

So what do you think of the Bubbly collection? Any shades you MUST have?

I'll be back later with the Tickled collection which I'm very excited for!
