Hola!

I have decided to start a new series on my blog! Basically every Friday I am going to post a Pinterest inspired manicure. I love Pinterest I think it is one of the greatest creations on earth! LOL! Like most people I can spend hours on that site and discover new things everyday. There are so many talented nail artists out there and I am always inspired by them, so that is why I've decided to do this series. Sort of like honoring the amazing talent that is out there! Plus it's a way for me to try out things that I never have. This should be a great learning experience for me.

 So for my first post I picked this design.

Giving Flowers a try!

Hi guys! I'm pretty proud of this manicure. I have always wanted to try out flowers. But I have been to scared to try. I'll let you guys in on a secret. I STINK at art. I can't even draw a straight line. LOL! So when I see anything that isn't zebra, leopard or polka dot print, I immediately get discouraged. I was apart of this weekly challenge; It's sort of like the 30 days challenge but revamped and the topic was flowers. Now I could have taken the easy way out and threw some flower rhinestones on and called it a day but I decided to watch some YouTube videos and try my hand at them. Imagine my surprise when I discovered how easy flowers can be!! Here is what I did.

All it took was a base coat of OPI Jade Is The New Black, Kleancolor Neon Yellow, Kleancolor Black and a dotting tool. How awesome do they look!? To be my first time I was pretty happy with what I did. This will probably go on the favorites list. What do you guys think?

The NEW 31 Day Challenge Day 13- Cheer Yourself Up Mani

Hi guys! A cheer yourself up Mani. Hmmmm Well this is what I came up with.

 When I think of things that make me happy; nothing makes me happier than polka dots. This is a mani that I would just stare at and smile. I love wearing blue. I think it's my favorite color to wear...after pink of course! The light blue kinda reminds me of the sky...also something that makes me smile. Please excuse my ravaged cuticles. I am in desperate need of a manicure!

•  Sinful Colors-Why Not (dark)
• Sally Hansen- Himalayan Blue (light)

Dotticure

   I love dots! I think they are the best things ever! I've been rocking a super cute dotticure for the past few days. I figure it was time to put them up here. 

  

Cute right? I just love easy to do manicures. I used all sinful colors for this mani. I really like Sinful Colors they are cheap have a huge range of colors and finishes and they are pretty good quality. I've had this manicure on for a week now and still no chips! And hey look at my cleanup! Getting better! :)

Have a happy Friday. It's raining and storming in Sacramento so I will be spending the day indoors. Yay for lots of nail painting time! Hopefully the power doesn't go out. I wonder if I can paint my nails by candle light. hahahaha
