Hi guys!

Today I have a brand new line of Indie polishes to show you. Shannon, who runs the blog Marbles for Polish has started an indie brand also named Marbles For Polish. Shannon was kind enough to send me three polishes to review so lets get started!

First up is Greed- A yellow shimmer with gold shreds. This is part of  the 7 Deadly Sins Collection.

This is two coats with one coat Seche Vite. This one had a good consistency, it applied nicely and it was actually nearly opaque in the first coat! I did notice a ton of shards in the bottle but I didn't get a lot of them on the nails..which i'm ok with. I'm not a huge fan of shards so I was happy with the amount that came out.    I did notice some graininess (is that the right word?) with the polish. I'm assuming it needed to be shaken a bit more? I'm not sure how polish making works so that's totally a guess.

Next is Pride, also part of the 7 Deadly Sins Collection.  This is a pretty purple with purple shifting glitter and what looks to me like blue shimmer but her etsy listing says green!

This one was kinda thick not to thick that it was difficult to work with. I would just be sure to use thin coats. I used two coats with one coat of Seche Vite.

Lastly is Cosmic Dust. This is a deep purple almost blue with rainbow shifting glitter. This one is my favorite of the three. It reminded me of a starry night.

This one was also a little on the thick side but again still manageable. This one was also a little streaky at first but evened out pretty well after the 2nd coat.

One more thing to note about all of these- the brush holds a lot of polish. Be sure to wipe the brush thoroughly to ensure you don't get to much polish on your nail. ;)

I think there could be some tweaks here and there but it's a pretty good first showing. I look forward to seeing what she comes up with in the future. If you are interested in adding some Marbles For Polish to your collection check out her Etsy shop here! Also be sure to like her facebook page here.

What do you think? Which was your favorite? :Let me know in the comments!

Have a lovely day!

Illamasqua Scarce

Hi guys!

I recently received Illamasqua Scarce in a birthday package and I was so excited to see it. This shade and the rest from the Speckled collection have been on my wishlist for seemingly forever. Check it out!

A gorgeous soft pink with tiny black glitter and larger black hexagons. The formula was awesome on this one. It took two thin coats to achieve opacity and was the perfect consistency. I don't own any Illamasqua other than this one but I definitely need more!

I love this polish so much! It's going to have to go into my top 5. What do you think? Do you know any Illamasqua's I should add to my wishlist? Let me know in the comments!

Have  a wonderful day!

Born Pretty Store Review

Hi guys! A couple of months ago I was contacted by someone from Born Pretty Store to do a review on a couple of items of my choosing. If you have ever been to the Born Pretty Store website you know that choosing two things is extremely difficult. Born Pretty Store sells a variety of things including jewelry, nail polish and nail art items, nail tools, makeup, there is even a section for acrylic and gel nail users. They offer free worldwide shipping and the prices are dirt cheap. The only thing is it may take awhile to get to you. They ship from China so depending on customs where you live it could take a couple of weeks. More than worth it i'd say!

I decided to choose bows and studs for this review.

First up I used the black plastic bows with a little rhinestone in the middle to give them that extra bit of sparkle. ;)

I actually did two mani's with the bows because I wasn't thrilled with the first set.

The first one I used

The plan was to use the black as my main color and the silver for accent nail with the bow. Then with the other nails I added Leopard Print with the white and silver.

I really loved the bow but I wasn't so thrilled with the print and bow together so I decided to simplify things.

And ended up with this! This is Zoya Wednesday with an unnamed Color Club Silver. I wish I knew the name of that color club because it is the most perfect silver glitter to go with Wednesday! I liked this much better and I feel like you were really able to see and appreciate the bow.

And another because I just love them so much!

The bow was very easy to work with and apply. I just put a layer of Seche Vite on then stuck the bow on and let it dry. I did only wear these for a few minutes so when I wear them again I will add a dab of nail glue to be sure that they will stick on for awhile.

For funsies I added some silver polka dots. Kinda love them!

Next I tried out the gold studs.

The blue is OPI Eurso Euro. I loved the blue and gold combo. The studs were very easy to work with. Like the bows above I layered Seche Vite on top and stuck the studs on. I wore these for a couple of hours and most of them popped off. LOL! So I would definitely advise using some nail glue.

I am very satisfied with the items I received from Born Pretty Store. Both of these items are very inexpensive and you get a good amount to work with.
