KleanColor Polka Dots

Hi guys!

Today I decided to try something I rarely do. Rhinestones! Now lets be real sometimes rhinestones look awesome and other times they turn your nails into a gaudy mess! LOL So I tried to use the stones sparingly. I used all Kleancolor for this mani. Black(my favorite!), White, Neon Pink and I used pink and silver rhinestones. Heres a look at the supplies and my nails!

Kinda cute I think. I wish I had spaced the polka dots a little better. There is to much free space for my liking. But I still like them. The perfect mix of hard and soft. I love it!

Pinsperation

Hi guys!

I'm back with another Pinterest inspired mani! Todays inspiration comes from "Nuthin' But a Nail Thing".

Here is the link to her original design.

When I came across this on Pinterest I knew IMMEDIATELY that I wanted to try it! I decided to go with a white to mint gradient with sort of a gradient polka dot effect. Here is what I used and how it looked!

-Essie Turquoise and Caicos
-Kleancolor White

Essie-Turquoise and Caicos-Butter London-Matte

AND because I think Matte is the coolest thing ever I decided to matte them!

Matte Finish By Butter London is really great! I think its one of the best out there. I found this one on a blog sale for 8 bucks! Score!!!!!

So what do you guys think? I totally love these nails. Both matte and with a top coat. I want to do this mani over and over again with different colors! LOL

Have a wonderful Friday!

Untried Thursday

Hi guys!!!

I've decided that the only way I'm going to get through my MANY untrieds is to schedule a certain day every week reserved only for untrieds. So here we go! Slowly but surely perhaps I'll be able to use everything at least once! LOL

For today's post I'm using two untried Essies. The purple is Bond With Whomever and the glitter is a longtime lemming Set In Stones. Here it is!

Such a pretty combo! I love it! Hope you guys enjoyed. Until tomorrow Ciao!

Darling Diva Sugar Rush. YEEEEEEEE!!!!

Hi guys!

If you can't tell from my title I am pretty excited about my nails today! I received Darling Diva Sugar Rush in a swap recently and I was SO excited to finally try it. So here it is layered over China Glaze Moonlight with a coat of Out the Door to seal in all that prettiness!

Isn't it pretty!!!? The formula on this was pretty good. I didn't have to much trouble getting the chunky glitter out but occasionally I had to do a little bit of fishing. Nothing I couldn't handle! If you don't have any polishes from Darling Diva you  MUST get on that! You can find her polishes here and at Llarowes web site here.

Have a lovely day!!

Rainbow Gradient

Hi guys. Today I did a Rainbow Skittle Gradient. I decided to try my luck at gradients again and I think I did ok!

I apologize I wrote down all the colors I used but I can't find that paper anywhere! And I am too lazy to go upstairs and look for it! ahahahaha I used a total of 12 colors with a coat of glitter on top. I kinda dig them. Perfect for pride weekend!

Have a wonderful day!

Pinsperation

Hola!

I have decided to start a new series on my blog! Basically every Friday I am going to post a Pinterest inspired manicure. I love Pinterest I think it is one of the greatest creations on earth! LOL! Like most people I can spend hours on that site and discover new things everyday. There are so many talented nail artists out there and I am always inspired by them, so that is why I've decided to do this series. Sort of like honoring the amazing talent that is out there! Plus it's a way for me to try out things that I never have. This should be a great learning experience for me.

So for my first post I picked this design.

And here is what I did.

How did I do? I hope you'll continue to join me weekly and see what I've been inspired by.

Until next time. CIAO!

Kleancolor Neon Yellow and Glitzology Cruella

Hi guys!

Todays post is a fun bright yellow mani I did using Kleancolor Neon Yellow topped with Glitzology Cruella. Before I show you the nails. Can I just say how amazing Kleancolor is?! I am in love with Kleancolor my very good friend Dawn from It's A Bunny's World introduced me to Kleancolor a few months ago and I've been obsessed ever since.

She sent me about 16 or 17 and I love each and every one. They have a pretty thick formula which I love. I can get full opacity in about one coat. Of course I use two just to be sure the nail is completely covered. But if you were in a rush you could get by with one. The best part? They are SUPER cheap!!!! I found them here in Sacramento at the local Flea Market for $1 each! They have a variety of colors and finishes. She even found me some matte suede ones. They are awesome! Oh and they have quite a few holos. Which might not be a strong of a holo as say Enchanted. But they are pretty amazing to be only $1!

Ok, I've gushed about Kleancolor enough. On to the nails!

Isn't that yellow gorgeous!? Normally I'm not a huge fan of yellow. But I might just have to add a couple more to my ever growing stash! And I absolutely adore Glitzology. I've said it before but i'll say it again. She makes some awesome glitter bombs! You can find her shop here. Her shop is on vacation mode right now while she recovers from a back injury but be sure to check her out when shes back!

I hope you guys enjoyed todays post. Ciao!

Purple Gradient

Hi guys!

Today I did a purple gradient then topped it with my fave..animal print! Gradients have been so tough for me to learn. I don't know what it is with them but I have so much trouble getting something I like. Today the gradient Gods were with me because it turned out pretty good. Heres what I did!

and here are the colors I used..

Kleancolor White, China Glaze Spontaneous, Essie Lilacism, and Out The Door for my Top Coat.

Not to shabby huh! I just might get this gradient thing down after all!

Have a great day!

How I love leopard print!

Hi guys!

I did this mani quite some time ago for a guest post then realized I never linked it here! I love this mani so much it is definitely one of my favorites I've ever done. I got the inspiration from this phone case.

Side note. I'm very angry at this case. LOL I dropped my phone and the case totally shattered. Sad day! At least I have this picture and the one of my nails to remind me how awesome it was! ;)

Anyways. Here are my nails!

Pretty close huh? My favorite part about this manicure is the fact that I did it on my nubbins! I have never been confident about doing my nails when they are short this was my first design and I have to say it was a success!

I used Essie Marshmallow as a basecoat. The print was done with Kleancolor-Neon Yellow, Barielle- Central Park (green) Zoya Coco (redish color), and China Glaze Grape Pop (purple). The black was done using a nail art pen made by Cina.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Until next time.... Ciao!

Giving Flowers a try!

Hi guys! I'm pretty proud of this manicure. I have always wanted to try out flowers. But I have been to scared to try. I'll let you guys in on a secret. I STINK at art. I can't even draw a straight line. LOL! So when I see anything that isn't zebra, leopard or polka dot print, I immediately get discouraged. I was apart of this weekly challenge; It's sort of like the 30 days challenge but revamped and the topic was flowers. Now I could have taken the easy way out and threw some flower rhinestones on and called it a day but I decided to watch some YouTube videos and try my hand at them. Imagine my surprise when I discovered how easy flowers can be!! Here is what I did.

All it took was a base coat of OPI Jade Is The New Black, Kleancolor Neon Yellow, Kleancolor Black and a dotting tool. How awesome do they look!? To be my first time I was pretty happy with what I did. This will probably go on the favorites list. What do you guys think?

Have a wonderful day! Ciao!

Zoya Pixi Dust Liberty

Hi guys! Todays post might be a little picture heavy because I just couldn't stop taking pictures of this polish!!!! If you haven't seen Zoyas Pixi Dust collection.. you simply MUST!!! It is beyond amazing. It is a textured polish that leaves sort of a grainy feel to your nails and it is all the rage right now. Pretty much everyone has a collection. China Glaze, Orly, Milani..just to name a few.  At first I was a little hesitant to try these textured polishes but Zoya has made me a believer! These polishes are meant to be used without a top coat but if you aren't into the texture you can add one and it becomes smooth and looks just as gorgeous!!! Ok on to Liberty!

Without Top Coat

Now with a coat of Out The Door

Sooooooooo pretty right!?

And because I couldn't leave it alone I decided to add a couple of stripes using China Glaze Liquid Leather.

I LOVE it with the black stripes!

What do you think? Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments!

Have a beautiful day!
